EACOED ACTING PROVOST, OYEWO FELICITATES COLLEGE LIBRARIAN, SERIFAT MOJISOLA ASIRU AT 60

he Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo College Librarian, Dr. Mrs. Serifat Mojisola Asiru is six decades today.

Alhaja Dr. Mojisola Asiru, an Iseyin indigene was born on July 21, 1962. She attended Iseyin District Grammar School, Iseyin, Oyo where she graduated in 1981. She later bagged her degrees in Library Studies before capping it up with a Doctorate degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Ibadan. Dr. Mrs. S. M. Asiru joined the service of the then St. Andrew’s College of Education, Oyo (now Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo) some decades ago and rose through the ranks to become the College Librarian.

A respected academic, administrator, technocrat, responsible wife, mother, proud family woman and community leader, Dr. (Mrs.) Mojisola Asiru is happily married to Dr. T. A. Asiru and the marriage is blessed with upwardly mobile children.

The Ag. Provost, Dr. Nelson Aderemi Oyewo on behalf of the College Management Team heartily rejoices with the College Librarian, Dr. Mrs. Serifat Mojisola Asiru on the auspicious occasion of her birthday. According to the College helmsman, “Dr. Mrs. Serifat Mojisola Asiru is a team player. She is a dependable ally who is always committed to the duties assigned to her towards moving the College forward. As she attains 60, I pray she lives to celebrate more fruitful years in life Insha Allah”, he submitted.
