Dr. Serifat Mojisola Asiru, an Iseyin-born respected academic, administrator and technocrat attended Iseyin District Grammar School, Iseyin, Oyo where she graduated in 1981. She later bagged her degrees in Library Studies before capping it up with a Doctorate degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Ibadan. Dr. Mrs. S. M. Asiru joined the service of the then St. Andrew’s College of Education, Oyo (now Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo) some decades ago and rose through the ranks to become the College Librarian.
